Mark Klein is a co-owner of Central Financial Group (CFG), becoming the managing partner of the casualty insurance division.  Previously, Mark had owned and operated Klein Insurance Agency, which was merged into Central Financial Group in January of 2003.

Mark was born and raised in Wesley, Iowa where his office is located.  Mark, his wife Bev and their two children, Kelly and David lived in Wesley, until they moved to Algona, Iowa in December of 2006.

Klein insurance was started in the 1950’s when Mark’s grandfather, LeRoy, bought Exchange State Bank and assumed the insurance agency in the bank.  He was later joined by his son, David, in the late 1950’s. In 1978, David sold Exchange State Bank and built a new building across the street where Klein Insurance still resides.  In 1978, Mark joined his father in the agency taking full ownership in 1991.  Klein Insurance is a property and casualty agency, also selling life, health, and securities.

Mark is an active member in his community, school, and church.  He enjoys attending his children’s sporting events, and spending time at the lake.  Hobbies include hunting, snowmobiling, ATVing, and spending time on his hobby farm.
